Exploring the Saatchi Gallery in London

Mark-making is one of humanity’s earliest creative acts – a way of thinking through touch, movement and repetition. This introductory gallery of The Long Now brings together three London-based artists who revisit this primal gesture through diverse materials and processes. Meet Jenny Bardoville and Mellezia, Saatchi Gallery’s inaugural Artists-in-Residence. 🎨 As part of our charitable mission, we’ve developed a new artist residency programme, in which emerging artists from marginalised backgrounds can meaningfully develop their practise. Throughout this programme, participating artists engage with our learning groups – fostering dialogue and collaboration. They then produce an outcome for their project in the form of an exhibition, hosted in our Learning gallery.
