Helen - Biography . The dancing diva, Helen Ann Richardson Khan is best known as Helen was born on 21 November 1938 in Rangoon, Burma to a Burmese mother and Anglo-Indian father. Her father died during World War II. The family then trekked to Bombay in 1943 in order to escape from the Japanese occupation of Burma.
