On Blood Bike Day, we thank our Bloodrunners SERV Kent - Bloodrunners and SERV Surrey & London for their essential service and for helping save many more lives. Last year alone, we gave blood and/ or plasma to 148 people. None of which would be possible without the Bloodrunners. A blood transfusion is a complex procedure to perform outside of the hospital but is so essential in saving lives and is only possible with the work of SERV.
