As we entered the rescue scene in Kingman County, Kansas yesterday, the smell was overpowering and many of the dogs were in awful shape—some very skinny and others with terrible skin conditions. 😔 While we continue our focus on those in Hurricane Dorian’s path, we are also ensuring the animals rescued in Kansas are given the love, medical attention and brighter future that they deserve.
