Jax is still here … but hekk cancer. Today marks one year since Jax’s cancer removal surgery, September 8th 2025. A year ago, we were hopeful. After discovering cancer in both of his anal glands, we made the decision to remove them, hoping for a cancer-free future. A few days after surgery, Jax almost lost his life to one of his surgery recovery meds, meloxicam. He went into kidney failure and was in the doggy ICU. After spending a week there, he was back to eating and recovering from surgery. A
