HIGH COURT UPDATE: Eswatini Government Spokesperson Alpheous Mfana Nxumalo, who is facing two charges of sexually violating minors aged 17 and 18, has been granted bail set at E50,000. He was granted bail by High Court Judge Mumcy Dlamini. Nxumalo was not present in court during the bail hearing, but the judge ordered that he must make a physical appearance on April 15, 2025, to be formally warned of his bail conditions. UPDATE: Judge Titus Mlangeni has remanded Eswatini Med Principal Officer Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane in custody until Monday, 7 April 2025, when his contempt case will resume.
