"Tōshō Daimos" (Fighting General Daimos) is a 1978-1979 Japanese anime by Toei Company and Nippon Sunrise, directed by Tadao Nagahama. The third entry in the Robot Romance Trilogy after Combattler V and Voltes V, it aired for 44 episodes on TV Asahi. The story follows Earth’s conflict with the Baam, aliens seeking refuge after their homeworld's destruction. Negotiations fail when Baam’s leader is assassinated, sparking war.
