A pull-down trip is when you rig the rope in such a way that you can rappel down, then pull the rope down behind you. This day, we tied two ropes together using a couple of barrel knots. . We pulled the rope through the rig point until the the knot couldn’t pass through the rig point. We rappelled down that side of the rope, and when we got to the bottom, we pulled on the other side of the rope to bring it down. .
