Tyrese Haliburton became the first player in NBA history to reach 500 assists in a season before committing 100 turnovers.

This season, Haliburton became the first player in NBA history to record 500 assists before reaching 100 turnovers. He currently sits at 511 assists and 100 turnovers, but against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, he held the honor for the first time in league history.

While Tyrese Haliburton didn't lead the team in scoring, he did his part and then some; besides dropping 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field, he made history in Sunday's contest. Haliburton became the first player in NBA history to record 500 assists in a season before recording 100 turnovers.

Haliburton popped up on Indiana's injury report following Monday's 125-116 loss to the Denver Nuggets. The 24-year-old has been one of the NBA's most durable stars this season, appearing in 55 of 56 games. His only absence was due to a mild strain in his left groin last month.

Tyrese Haliburton had 33 points and 11 assists to help the Indiana Pacers beat the Toronto Raptors 111-91 on Wednesday night.

Haliburton had a rough start to the year and seemed to struggle with the expectations that he had on him. His teammates agree that he had unnecessary pressure on him to begin the season. Myles Turner mentioned that he thought Haliburton was trying too hard to live up to these expectations.

Tyrese Haliburton produced his sixth consecutive double-double and the Indiana Pacers turned a fourth-quarter rally into a 115-102 victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday in Indianapolis.
