Morice Norris had some encouraging words on social media after his scary injury Friday night that landed him in the hospital and stopped the Lions’ preseason game against the Falcons. The Detroit cornerback posted on his Instagram story, writing “Amen Amen I’m all good man don’t stress it appreciate all the check ins and love.”

But on Monday, Lions head coach Dan Campbell shared with reporters that Norris is in concussion protocol, and that they'll "take it easy" on him for the next couple weeks. The fact that Norris has a timeline for when the Lions may start ramping things up with him suggests the injury wasn't quite as bad as it visually appeared.
