Chelsea agree a £37 million deal for Ajax's Jorrel Hato, their eighth summer signing, as part of a £250m spending spree.

Chelsea and Ajax have reached an agreement over the signing of Jorrel Hato for a fee in excess of €40million plus a sell-on clause, subject to approval from the Dutch club’s supervisory board. The 19-year-old Netherlands international has agreed a seven-year deal and will travel for a medical after approval has been given.
