KERRVILLE, Texas – Volunteers are arriving in droves in Kerrville on Saturday to aid in flood recovery. The Texas Department of Emergency Management secured Tivy Antler Stadium as the official registration and check-in site for volunteers wanting to help the community this weekend.

The early warnings and alerts from the National Weather Service didn’t indicate a catastrophic flood was on its way.

But they haven't rescued anyone alive since July 4, the day of the flood, officials in the hardest-hit Kerr County said. Some 160 people are missing from the county alone. As of the morning of July 12,
