The man accused of firing a bullet that hit a teen in the foot near Bengals player Joe Mixon's home changed his plea to guilty Thursday afternoon in federal court.

Brewer, 36, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful transport of firearms, according to the Southern District of Ohio’s court records. He was originally indicted on one count each of unlawful transport of firearms and seizure, forfeiture and disposition of firearms.

Lamonte Brewer pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal gun charge. He still faces charges in Hamilton County connected to the shooting.
