Mexican soldiers are deployed along the U.S.-Mexico border following deal after Trump threatened tariffs against Mexico.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday in a social media post that the United States had agreed to pause threatened tariffs for “at least 30 days.” The announcement followed two phone calls with President Donald Trump on Monday and came after the United States and Mexico reached a similar agreement.

President Donald Trump has temporarily suspended stiff new tariffs on Canada and Mexico, easing the fears of homebuilders who had warned the measures could raise the cost of key building materials used in home construction.
