Dozens of people gathered Friday night at a growing memorial wall in Kerrville to honor the lives lost in the devastating July 4 floods that tore through the Hill Country and other parts of Central Texas.

A memorial wall honoring the victims of last Friday’s devastating flood is growing along Water Street in Kerrville, Texas. The fifty-foot-long tribute, lined with flowers and photos, was organized by a man from Miami to help the community remember those lost.

At least 129 people are dead from the devastating flooding in the Texas Hill Country. Kerr County was hit the hardest, with at least 103 deaths, including 36 children. President Donald Trump signed a disaster declaration for the county and the Federal Emergency Management Agency is on the ground there.
