Nobody calls it Tinseltown anymore, but after Sunday night’s Academy Awards opened with a parade of reflective, glittery silver gowns sparkling down the 900-foot red carpet (nominees Felicity Jones and Mikey Madison mugged for photos, as did Mindy Kaling, Halle Berry and Emma Stone) you could be forgiven for reviving the old nickname.
