The Cincinnati Bengals and Hamilton County finalized a new 11-year lease on Friday that includes $470 million in renovations to Paycor Stadium. Hamilton County commissioners approved a version of the lease on Thursday but the Bengals did not sign because they had not seen the version that county officials approved.

The new lease finalizes a process that has been ongoing throughout the offseason. The Bengals agreed with local officials in June to a $470 million renovation of Paycor Stadium along with the lease extension, but the latter required formal approval from county commissioners.

Bengals Vice President Troy Blackburn wanted to extend the 1997 stadium lease rather than continue negotiations.
