The Ottawa Senators ended their five-game losing streak on Saturday night, defeating the San Jose Sharks 5-3 at Canadian Tire Centre. Tim Stützle led the way with a goal and an assist in a critically important four-goal third period.
San Jose Sharks find another way to lose as skid reaches eight games
The puck then went to the front of an open Sharks net, after goalie Vitek Vanecek left his crease to play the Pinto pass. That left an open net for Tim Stützle, who 19th of the season, giving the Senators the lead for good as they handed the Sharks a 5-3 loss at Canadian Tire Centre.
Ullmark is winless in his last four starts since returning from injury on Feb. 4 and hasn't won a game since Dec. 19.
