Syria's state-run SANA news agency says Qatar will provide natural gas supplies to Syria with the aim of generating 400 megawatts of electricity a day, in a measure to help address the war-battered country’s severe electricity shortages.

Donna Anderson, who heads corporate governance at T. Rowe Price and has been a powerful voice on a range of hot-button topics in the investment world, intends to retire at the end of this year, the asset manager told Reuters.
