A Malibu resident was brought to tears while standing beside his burned home, saying “We lost everything we owned.”

Fueled by powerful winds and dry conditions, a series of ferocious wildfires erupted last week and roared across the Los Angeles area.

Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Oscar nominee James Woods, along with Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, have lost their homes to the fires. Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg, Michael Keaton, Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks are among the other stars who have homes in the Palisades.

Aaron Rodgers' playing future remains undecided, with the New York Jets quarterback focused on the lingering wildfires near his home in Southern California.
