The Rays will get a glimpse of their future in Spring Training. And that future may not be far away. The Rays announced on Thursday that 30 players on Minor League contracts have been invited to Major League camp.

Since the Prospect Promotion Incentive (PPI) was implemented under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, four players have earned their clubs extra Draft picks. The PPI rewards teams for promoting their best prospects to the big leagues at the start of the season,
