Even though the Minnesota Vikings used the No. 10 pick in the 2024 NFL draft to select J.J. McCarthy with the goal of making him their quarterback of the future, the possibility of adding Aaron Rodgers could alter their plans.

McCarthy is clearly a fan of Rodgers, however, if Rodgers were signed, it would likely not be an open competition in training camp. The 41-year-old quarterback is looking for a destination to make one final run and rewrite the ending of his career after fizzling out with the New York Jets.
