Across north Georgia, many saw heavy snow and others saw flurries. One thing everyone will see though is the bitter cold.
Snow began falling in metro Atlanta on Saturday morning with the National Weather Service predicting that some parts of the region could see several inches of accumulation before it's through.
ATLANTA — Accumulating snow arrives overnight and Saturday morning at the beginning of a prolonged cold snap to the region, during which much of north Georgia will spend 60+ hours at or below freezing.
