Garoppolo backed up quarterback Matthew Stafford up in 2024 in his first season with the Rams. He also started in Week 18 as Stafford rested following the Rams clinching the NFC West. Garoppolo completed 65.9% of his passes in that game, a 30-25 loss to Seattle, throwing for 334 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
