Trump's "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" marks his first major speech in Washington since he urged his supporters to march on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in protest against his defeat.

Activists highlighted a range of issues, descending on the capital two days before President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House.

On Sunday, the eve of his inauguration, Trump is scheduled to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery before heading to a rally at Capital One Arena in Washington. The rally will be followed by a private dinner.
