Eric Clapton has unveiled plans to release a new studio album called Meanwhile. The 14-track collection features six brand-new songs and eight singles he issued during the last three years or so.

In July 1974, Eric Clapton released his second solo album, 461 Ocean Boulevard. The album marked Clapton’s return to recording after a three-year period during which he struggled with drug addiction.

The song defied expectations, becoming the rocker's only No. 1 hit and finding a new generation of fans decades later.
