A BODY discovered in a lake at Alexandra Gardens Park in Ararat on Sunday has been identified as an elderly man from the community.

UPDATE: POLICE says the death of an elderly man whose body was found in an Ararat lake is not being treated as suspicious. A 70-year-old was discovered at a lake within Alexandra Gardens about 1pm.
