NEW YORK — Yankees captain Aaron Judge already is progressing toward returning from the 10-day injured list when he’s first eligible after losing his campaign to keep playing with a right flexor strain.

Once the dust settles from the trade deadline later this week, the Yankees will have another key pitching decision to make. Right-hander Luis Gil is scheduled to make what will probably be his final rehab assignment start on Tuesday with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
