During President Donald Trump's first term, my late father would lament, "We haven’t had one day of peace since Trump took office." Sadly, Trump's second term is even worse. Trump’s latest rambling of pardoning Pete Rose is ridiculous.

Pete Rose pleaded guilty in 1990 to felony charges of filing false tax returns and was barred from the baseball hall of fame.

Rose, who died last year at 83, was banned from baseball for life. He admitted in 2004 that he had bet on games, though never against his own team.
