The Trump administration is directing immigration agents to track down hundreds of thousands of migrant children who entered the United States without their parents, expanding the president's mass deportation effort,

Affected organizations said the move would prevent them from offering critical legal services to migrant children who crossed the U.S. southern border without their parents or legal guardians.

A local nonprofit group has been ordered by the Trump administration to stop providing taxpayer-funded legal services to unaccompanied migrant children in government custody in Arizona. A lawyer with the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Project called the decision by the Trump administration an "attack on immigrant children."
