Shedeur Sanders was a victim of a prank call from someone pretending to be New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis on Night 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft Friday night. The former Colorado quarterback was in a yard surrounded by family when someone called his phone. "It's Mickey Loomis here, GM of the Saints," the caller said.

The New Orleans Saints, led by star Alvin Kamara, temporarily cleared up the uncertainty over who would be the starting quarterback in the 2025 NFL season, between Derek Carr and newly drafted Tyler Shough.
