Two men are dead following an apparent murder-suicide on Tuesday night at an apartment complex in Mesa. The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 near Mesa Drive and McKellips Road. The Mesa Police Department says officers responded to the scene for reports of shots fired and found a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound.

Bill Godsil joined Mesa Public Schools in 2019 as Dobson High's head football coach. He was arrested on campus, according to the Dobson principal.

A judge sentenced 27-year-old Rachel Henry to three life sentences for the murders of 3-year-old Zane Henry, 1-year-old Miraya Henry and 7-month-old Catalaya Rios. An investigation is underway to find out what led to the crash into the depths of the national park.

Mesa's Dobson High School football coach Richard Godsil was arrested Thursday by Surprise police. He is facing felony charges of furnishing harmful items to minors and aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation,
