Steph Curry made his infrequent trip to Charlotte to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night. It was a rare trip back home for the Golden State Warriors star whose father works for the Hornets and who grew up watching his father play for the Hornets.

Curry, a lifelong Panthers fan, continues to support the team through thick and thin, despite their ups and downs. As a familiar face in Charlotte, where his father, Dell Curry, made his mark, Curry’s connection to the city runs deep.

Stephen Curry had 21 points and 10 assists in his annual homecoming game, and the Golden State Warriors pulled away in the second half to defeat the Charlotte Hornets 119-101.
