The Rangers traded right-handed pitcher Codi Heuer to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for cash considerations Thursday afternoon. Heuer, 29, pitched in just one game for the Rangers this season and had a 3.43 ERA in 39 1/3 innings at Triple-A Round Rock.

To trade for reliever Codi Heuer, the Detroit Tigers sent cash considerations to the Texas Rangers. Heuer has been assigned to Triple-A Toledo.

The Texas Rangers announced Thursday that they have traded righthander Codi Heuer to the Detroit Tigers for cash considerations. Heuer threw 1.1 innings in 2025 for the Rangers in one appearance back on June 3. The Rangers now have 39 players on their roster, including three on the 60-day injured list.
