America's most highly rated and oldest Ghost Tour is an approximate 2 hour spooky experience in one of America's spookiest towns! The stories are based on a book published in 1977 by a woman who did not believe in ghosts until she had opened up a restaurant in Harpers Ferry in 1968 and then had to re-evaluate her thinking after a number of ghostly happenings. After asking around town for any explanations and/or history about the house she was in, she was told a number of stories from people living and working in the town over the years and was then conducting the Ghost Tours of Harpers Ferry by 1970. The tour also includes historical highlights of the town, as well as a good description of the famous John Brown of October 1859.

History lesson, not a ghost tour. Tour in 80's and early 90's was phenomenal, current tour is nothing like it. This should not be advertised as a ghost tour.Full review by Lisa T
