Have been going here for years, and look forward to doing it again this year. Requires good planning now that you must book tickets in advance, but well worth it. Full review by shacketj

Traffic to park lines up pretty long after 7-8 the 2 times we have gone. We are new to the area... 4 yrs. It is a large area to walk thru so people are dispersed pretty well throughout the park and buildings. I've heard from locals that it's busier on weekend nights. Well worth the time to go.. awesome lighting to walk thru.. wear some mittens and a a hat .. chilly night time in the woods :)
If you get at the park before 9p.m. to see Christmas Magic lights....are you able to go thru whole park without being rushed?

I would think so. We have two young kids so it takes us quite awhile to go through the light display. Both of my boys want to stop and look at the trains, play on the playground, see Santa etc. But if you are really going just to see the lights, you should be able to go through without feeling rushed. But try to pick a day where you can spend some time there. Every year they add new little things to see or do. Not to mention it gets a good crowd so plan on adding extra time just waiting in line.
